- Most of the answers to the written test appear in the CFI Study Guide (also available in Spanish).
- You can also find many educational resources in our membership resources library.
- If you review this information, you should pass with a 100% score. 80% is required.
- Certification is not designed to fail or to know who is the smartest or the best
- It provides those who are proud Installers with a “tool” to promote their skills
- It identifies Installers who are known nationwide as the “Best Installers in the Nation”

| Friday Evening: Demonstrations, Review, and Written Test |
- PRIOR registration required, no walk-ins. Late fee will apply.
- Check-in begins at 5:15p.m.. Testing ends at 9:30p.m.
- Presents rules and guidelines by CFI installation work is performed
- Demonstrations and information pertaining to both written and skills tests
- Written test covers the installer's installation techniques and knowledge
- Easily completed if the CFI Study Guide is reviewed PRIOR to Friday evening

- Arrive at 7:50 a.m. – DO NOT BE LATE! Plan to conclude before 4:00 p.m.
- Installers demonstrate skills, knowledge and techniques to CFI Certifiers who are also Carpet Installers
who have been certified and participate in the training program
- Training is available for those who complete R-I and C-I only
- No assistance is given to those testing for R-II or C-II
- Bring all tools as listed on application form – do not plan to share tools – supplies are furnished
